Waterloo City Farm

Formerly an unused strip of land next to Guy Thomas' Hospital, this urban farm in the heart of central London is now a mixed-use site for educational activities featuring a timber barn as classroom space for workshops, animals pens for goats, chickens and sheep, and space for growing fruit and veg.

The Farm is also home to the architects of the site – the award-winning Practice Feilden Fowles, whose studio sits within the walled garden. Filmed during an Open City Accelerate workshop this short film explores the value of community green spaces and spotlights a project that has both social value and sustainability at its core, offering a pertinent reflection on the power of utilising overlooked spaces in our cities.
